On Thursday, September 21 10-11:30am ET (New York time,) Drs. Ramkumar & Claudia are warmly inviting anyone at all that would love to see what we’ve been up to in our live, online, Vedic Threads membership-based fellowship for the last year to join us, the fellowship participants, all the previous years’ Vedic Threads guest instructors, Satsangam advisors, and the Satsangam Team, at no cost, for a special session to celebrate the conclusion of Vedic Thread’s first incredible year. This is and continues to grow into a beautiful community, in great measure because of the heartfelt participation, depth of knowledge and spirit of curiosity of every one of of the incredible instructors and participants. We have been exploring the spiritual, scientific, artistic, philosophical and cultural origin of Indian wisdom traditions. We plan in this session to remember and explore why this is important.
We will have had 12 months, 24 sessions, 16 world-class guest instructors, over 100 participants and one underlying commitment to truth, community and kindness.
God willing, the following will be the flow of the session:
- Dr. Robert Svoboda ji will start us out on this session, with some opening remarks
- We share a video, compiled by our social media friends, that weaves together some scenes from each guest instructor session of the past year
- Carolina Prada ji will share with us how traditional Indian performance traditions prioritize, understand and navigate the nava rasas–the 9 emotions critical to these traditions. This will begin a season at Vedic Threads that promises to have an emphasis on aspects and concepts in Indian wisdom traditions that help us understand, navigate and support emotional health
- We will hear from various advisors and instructors, including at least hopefully Nina Rao, Fred Smith and Allison Dennis why they personally feel it is important we familiarize ourselves with the context of Indian wisdom traditions–rather than specialize in one or two subjects.
- finally, hopefully, we’ll have time to hear from you, the participants about how and why this has been important or valuable for you.
