Vedic Threads explores the cultural, philosophical, scientific, and historical threads connecting Indian wisdom traditions — orienting students to the living context from which they arise.
Vedic Threads is Satsangam’s signature offering — intimate conversations exploring the cultural, scientific, philosophical, and historical threads that connect Indian wisdom traditions: Ayurveda, yoga, philosophy, the arts, and more.
Sessions meet twice monthly online, with world-class guest instructors each leading a focused four-session series before passing the baton to the next, building a growing archive of 100+ recorded hours. Participants may enroll in individual series or join as members for the ongoing journey.
Join hosts Drs. Ramkumar and Claudia Welch, Navneet Raman, and curious participants from around the world.

We plan to explore many more kalās (arts), vidyās (sciences), teachers, texts and traditions of India and concepts that relate to all of them, gain insight into how they are employed within various Vedic knowledge systems, and how they can be meaningfully incorporated into our chosen subjects (Ayurveda, Yoga) and our lives in general.
This kind of exploration can help deepen our understanding of our chosen subject, connect us to related subjects and sometimes have a glimpse into the Oneness behind the variety. For an introduction into the interconnectedness of Vedic wisdom traditions, and why this is important, scroll down on the Life Map page to see a video session with Drs. Ramkumar and Welch.
